Rhubarb:
Rhubarb – 4 long stalks
Sugar – raw brown
Wash rhubarb and cut into 6cm lengths. Arrange as densely as possible in a roasting dish. At sugar – about a cup and then water so rhbarb is jast covered. Bake in a medium hot oven for 25-30 minutes until rhubarb is tender. Allow to cool and refrigerate/freeze util you want to use.
Crumble:
1c plain flour
1/2 c self raising flour
Salt – good pinch
1/2c rolled outs
1/2c raw brown sugar
1/2c butter
Sift flours add other ingredients and mix until texture is crumbly (Daaaah). Pack over rhubarb (which should have a syrup sauce). Bake in hot oven for 30 minutes. Serve with cream.
